Mark Stoneman

Mark is a professional cricketer who has represented Durham, Surrey, Yorkshire, Middlesex, Hampshire and England. He made his International debut in August 2017 v the West Indies opening the batting and also played in the Ashes 2017/18 series. 19,000 runs. Mark is an ECB Level 3 coach who has vast knowledge and experience both from a playing and coaching perspective. Mark led the U15–U18 In-Touch Academy course and comes highly recommended for 1 to 1 coaching. He is the current batting coach for Hampshire during their Metro Bank One Day Cup competition.

Mark’s coaching style is a player-centred approach, enhancing the individual skills and attributes alongside understanding their knowledge and experience to maximise performance outcomes.

Henry Thorpe

Henry brings a fresh and dynamic approach to his coaching, underpinned by over ten years of experience as a coach and two decades worth of playing. As an ECB Level 3 qualified coach he has shaped a deep understanding of player development and a high performance mindset in a results driven environment.

He has been awarded with Surrey Cricket’s Coach of the Year award and Young Coach of the Year award and now serves as a Cricket Professional at St George’s College, Weybridge. Henry served as 1st XI Captain at Maori Oxshott Cricket Club for six years and is currently Men’s 1st XI Captain at Epsom Hockey Club.

A First-Class graduate from the University of Manchester, he is also an alumnus of the Academy’s inaugural intake in 2008, adding a strong foundation of elite training to his credentials. Henry is currently training as a High Performance Executive Coach and has a passion for developing cricketers at either end of the game.

Matt Homes

Matt is an ECB Level 3 coach and CoachED Level 4 accredited and is the owner of the In-Touch Cricket Academy. Since founding In-Touch in 2008, Matt has gained vast experience working with both junior and senior cricketers, including current England International Jamie Smith, who he worked with for many years.

Matt is the Director of Cricket for Surrey Championship Premier League club Ashtead CC and has played club cricket for Mitcham, Ashford, Reigate Priory and Ashtead CC. He also has several years’ experience working for sports photo agencies Allsport and Getty Images.

Tom Homes

Tom is an ECB Level 3 coach who has over 10 years’ experience coaching u9s to senior cricketers. His experience includes In-Touch Cricket Academy, Ashtead Cricket Club, Epsom College cricket programme and the Surrey CCC u12 performance programme. Tom came through the Surrey CCC age group system and was part of the Academy…

in 2015/16 before playing 2XI County Cricket for Surrey, Northants, and the MCC Young Cricketers. Specialising in spin bowling, Tom has a depth of knowledge from a technical, tactical and mental perspective. Tom has completed a degree in Business Management (Marketing) and Sport with First-Class Honours and has 3 years’ experience working within the Football Media and Talent Management industry.

Gary Butcher

Gary is an experienced Level 3 coach with a strong background in school cricket and is the current 1st XI coach at Reigate Priory CC. A former First Class cricketer with Surrey and Glamorgan, Gary comes from a cricketing family, with his brother being former England International Mark Butcher. Primarily works with players from A team school level to performance level as a specialist coach.

Damian Shirazi

Damian is the current Director of Cricket at Epsom College and a very experienced Level 3 coach working with players at all levels. His playing career as a left-handed batsman who bowls right-arm medium pace saw him represent England at U14, U15, and U19. He also played for Hampshire CCC at all…

levels and spent 2 years with the MCC Young Cricketers. He comes highly recommended in a 1 to 1 coaching environment.

Tom Deighton

Tom is an experienced club cricketer having captained Ashtead 1st XI for several years in the Surrey Championship Premier Division and is the current Club Head Coach. Tom leads In-Touch group sessions and is experienced in 121 coaching, working with players of all abilities. Tom currently coaches as an ECB Level 2 coach and is CoachED Level 4 Elite accredited.

Sam Hunt

Sam is a full-time cricket coach currently coaching at In-Touch and Ashtead CC, where he also plays in the 1st XI as a left arm seam bowler. Sam is an overseas player for Malvern CC in Melbourne and their Senior Head Coach. Sam is ECB Level 2 Coach qualified and CoachED Level 3 accredited.

Josh Blake

Josh is a talented wicketkeeper batter contracted at Surrey CCC who plays his club cricket with Sutton CC in the Surrey Championship. Prior to signing his first professional contract, Josh was a coach for the Surrey Cricket Foundation and the Chance to Shine charity. With coaching and playing experience, Josh adds his expertise in keeping and batting.
